Lucky mums and dads around the city got the best presents ever today as a number of Christmas babies were born in Dublin's three maternity hospitals.

Four babies were born in the Coombe between midnight and 7am in the morning at 25 th of December.
The first baby was born at 12.38am to mum, Kitti Tengur and dad, Arunesh Tengur from Swords, Co Dublin.
Little Emma weighed in at 3.5 kgs. or 7 lbs 7oz and is their second daughter.
At 02.37am, mum Denise Dolan and dad Joe Dolan from Sallins, Co Kildare also had a baby girl weighing in at 3 kgs. or 6 lbs 6 oz.
She is their first child and has not yet been named.
In the Rotunda hospital, a little boy was the first baby to be born on Christmas day.
Nadine Mchale gave birth to little Hunter at 7:18am weighing 2.89 kg.
He'll join father Callum Norton, sister Mia (age 8) and brother Kairyon (age 2) at home in Swords, Co Dublin.
A total of seven babies were delivered there between midnight and 1pm today.
Meanwhile three babies were born in the National Maternity Hospital between midnight and 7am this morning.
