Luas Red Line suspended following reported incident with pedestrian

This afternoon the Luas Red Line has suspended services following an incident.

There is an unconfirmed information that the incident involved a pedestrian.

At around 1.30pm the collision happened. It was near Heuston Station and use of that major delays are expected in both directions.

In a incident at Steevens Lane a tram was involved, it links James Street to Victoria Quay, beside the Heuston stop.

The Luas Red Line is working from Saggart/Tallaght to Blackhorse and from Smithfield to Connolly/The Point only.

A man from Garda informed to that emergency services were attending the scene, but the cause of the collision is not yet known.

There are two fire trucks, two Dublin Fire Brigade ambulances, and Gardaí are at the scene of the incident.
