A 30 years old motorcycle died in crash on Terenure

The crash in Terenure happened during rush hour this morning on the Terenure Road East at the junction with Ferrard Road.

Emergency services said that the road was closed to traffic for some hours. 

A man has died because of a crash.

The injured motorcycle, was treated at the scene by Emergency Services but died a short time later. He was 30 years old.

A spokesman from Garda confirmed that the motorcycle was riding on struck a wall.

Garda Forensic Collision Investigators examined the where of an accident. The body of the deceased has been removed to Dublin City Morgue. The Coroner has been notified.

The road was reopened but the traffic is still heavy in the area.

Gardaí in Terenure are appealing for witnesses to incident.
