Fire brigade saved a horse after falling into the grand canal

An incredible incident occurred today in Dublin - three units of a Dublin fire brigade saved a horse. The pretty pony could not get out of the canal that runs along the Killeen road in Dublin 12.

Firefighters together with the rescue team of rivers and DSPCA helped the colt to make it up to land.

In Twitter Dublin Fire Brigade told their subscribers: "Good news!" The distressed horse was removed from the canal at Killeen Rd.

Thanks to the veterinarian who arrived at the scene, they assured theirselves that the pony felt well and was happy to be rescued.

As godublin.info reports, a DSPCA spokeswoman informed: "The mare is in the care of the DSPCA receiving vet treatment for a badly infected leg.
