Poor weather played havoc with Bon Iver's set at Forbidden Fruit

This was the band's first show in Ireland in over five years since selling out The O2 in 2012

Bon Iver took to the Forbidden Fruit main stage last night for what was to be the highlight of the Kilmainham festival.

But their 90 minute set was reportedly cut short due to the poor weather sweeping the capital.

This was the headliner's first show in Ireland in over five years since selling out The O2 in 2012.

According to tweeting fans, the band's sound system and lights were affected during the show.

Despite the miserable weather, many have said turning out to see frontman Justin Vernon and his band was worth it.
