Two demolition men were detained in Dublin.

On Friday, two guys were detained for illegal storage of explosives. That happened in the capital of Ireland - Dublin. There were confiscated about 5 kg of plastic explosives, a large number of detonators and other military items.

According to detectives, this arsenal was intended for use in Northern Ireland. The detention itself was carried out at Utrecht-Spring Street, around 6:00 pm local time. Two suspect of the age 21 and 28 were arrested.

Investigation into dissident activities in the republic allowed to identify the demolition men. The police said that such detention is extremely important, since it indicates that the radicals got access to new sources of explosives, while earlier it was obtained from the old warehouses of the Irish Republican Army.
