Manhunt underway following armed robbery in Dublin the 7th of June

Gardai in Ballyfermot are investigating an armed robbery which took place in Dublin this afternoon.

The incidentoccurredat a premises in Chapelizod at around 2.30pm.

A man is reported to have entered a post office on Main Streetwith what appeared to be a firearm and threatened staff.

He then managed to escape the premises with an unknown sum of cash. No one was injured in the incident.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incidentandgardaí are appealing for witnesses
