Gardai seize large quantity of cannabis in north Dublin

Gardai have seized a large quantity of cannabis after a vehicle was stopped and searched in north Dublin.

According to gardai a joint operation between them and the Revenue Customs Service took place in north county Dublin yesterday.

During that operation gardai stopped a vehicle and searched it near Man o’War.

During the search Cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €600,000 (analysis pending) was found hidden in the vehicle.

A 34-year-old man was arrested and is currently detained for questioning under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Balbriggan Garda Station.
