Mystery man who died after being found injured in Dublin car park has been identified

Gardai have confirmed the identity of the man who died on Wednesday night after being found with serious injuries in a Dublin underground car park.

He has been identified as a 46-year-old Latvian National with an address in Swords, Dublin.

The man was discovered in the underground car park at Carnegie Court Apartments on North Street, Swords at 6am on Tuesday.

He was pronounced dead at Beaumont Hospital on Wednesday night.

The victim suffered blunt force trauma but gardai have ruled out foul play in his death.

They had initially appealed for help in identifying the man when he was found with no form of identification.

Photos of the victim were circulated among garda members in a bid to identify him.
