Dublin Zoo set to bring back the dinosaurs with Zoorasic World exhibition

A whole new generation of kids will get to see the dinosaurs in Dublin

Dublin Zoo have released a video teasing a new exhibition set to open at the attraction next month.

In a video posted on their Facebook page earlier today, the zoo revealed it will open 'Zoorasic World', an exhibit of dinosaurs, on July 7.

The video gave fans of the popular Phoenix Park attraction a first glimpse at what to expect from the exhibition, and shows curious kids watch the arrival some Jurassic Park-like cargo - which turns out to be a Tyrannosaurus rex.

And according to the Irish Sun, Dublin Zoo director Leo Oosterweghel says the exhibit has seen an investment similar to the new Sea Lion Cove and Orangutan Forests.

He added: "All monies generated by Dublin Zoo go directly back into ensuring the continuous development of the Zoo."

It's not the first time Dublin Zoo has featured a dinosaur exhibit; in 1993, almost 670,000 visitors came to see the Dino Live installation at the popular attraction.

Now a whole new generation of kids will get to see the dinosaurs in Dublin!
