Taxi driver and passenger rushed to hospital after early morning Dublin collision

A TAXI driver and their passenger were left badly injured following a crash in Dublin in the early hours of this morning - reports the Irish sun.

The crash took place at about 1.40am this morning, at the junction of Portland Row and the North Circular Road.

Both were taken to the Mater hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries following the incident.

The car was left badly damaged and removed from the scene at around 6.15am this morning.

Although one other vehicle was involved in the incident, no one else was injured.
