Dublin traffic: City centre at a standstill as crash blocks busy road

Dublin city centre traffic is at a standstill after a crash has blocked a busy road.

Access to South Richmond Street is blocked from the South Circular Road collision which is blocking traffic in both directions at Kelly's Corner.

AA Roadwatch posted online: "Following a crash, access to South Richmond St from SCR is blocked at Kelly's Corner."

The vehicles involved in the incident have now been moved and are blocking left lane of Camden Street Upper, as traffic remains slow from Leonard's Corner to Kelly's Corner.

Major disruption was already reported on the South Quays due to Luas works.

Luas Cross City has warned that heavy delays on the South Quays on approach to O'Connell Bridge from this morning.
