Ireland’s first ever new balance jersey has interesting new feature

The first images of the new kit were released earlier in the week.

Earlier in the week images of the Republic of Ireland’s new home jersey emerged.

Martin O’Neill’s men will debut their first ever New Balance kit next month in a crucial World Cup Qualifier clash against Georgia at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena, Tbilisi on September the 2nd, before hosting Serbia in the Aviva Stadium a few days later.

The Boys in Green will kit out in the new jersey after the FAI chose to end its 23 year association with Umbro by switching to the New Balance brand.

The new kit supplier tweeted an image of the mens senior team wearing the kit.

As football is not just about the boys.

The new home jersey will also be available in women's fit.

It doesn’t stop there as the supplier added a special feature for the Girls in Green as they printed #COYGIG on the inside of the collar.
