Dublin Airport reveals the top three most confiscated items at security

Dublin Airport is no different than any other, and security are assigned a set of strict rules from international agencies about what can and cannot be brought on planes.

They are always kept busy despite people continuously being told what they can and cannot bring through an airport - reports dublinlive.ie.

Dublin Airport have now revealed what the top three most confiscated items are to RTE.

They are:

  • 1. Water
  • 2. Guinness wholegrain mustard
  • 3. Scissors

Obviously enough, water came top of the list as many people forget that water cannot be brought through security if their bottles are over 100ml due to EU regulations.

Surprisingly Guinness wholegrain mustard comes in second on the list.

Wondering why so many people are trying to bring mustard out of the country?

Well you can purchase the obviously popular mustard for just €3 in Carrolls Irish Gift Shop.

Third on the list was scissors, from nail scissors to bigger scissors most people forget about this one.
