Traffic diversions in place, two drivers hospitalised following collision in Dublin city centre

A motorcyclist and a motorist were hospitalised following a collision in Dublin's city centre this afternoon.

The collision between the car and the motorcycle occurred on Commons Street Junction on the North Wall Quay at lunchtime today.

Gardaí told Independent.ie that both drivers have been taken to hospital but that they are not seriously injured.

Gardaí are currently directing traffic on the North Quay and told drivers to expect delays from Custom House.
