“We created the Academy to develop the technicians of tomorrow and to help future-proof our business so that we can service the demand for connected, autonomous and electric cars like the zero emissions Nissan LEAF and new Nissan Qashqai.”

Applicants can apply online and the lucky 40 will be trained over four years to become qualified automotive technicians.

Successful candidates will be employed by local Nissan dealers across Ireland before the end of the year.

They will also receive Nissan product training throughout their apprenticeship relevant to their experience and ability.
