Twenty-six people have landed themselves in court for using fraudulent parking permits.
This was a part of Operation Enable which was launched by Gardaí in March in order to target offenders - writes buzz.ie.
Garda Sergeant Peter Woods is leading the initiative and so far it has provided big results. Twenty-six people will appear in court for using fraudulent disabled parking permits.
The first prosecutions will be brought before Dublin District Court next month. The offenders could face up to €3,000 in fines and possible six month sentences in jail.
On the first day of Operation Enable, undercover gardai went to locations where drivers were using illegal permits.
