Here's how you can have your say on the Temple Bar revamp

The deadline is looming for you to give your opinion.

Temple Bar is set to undergo a major revamp, and you can have your say on how it will look - but there's only a limited time left - writes dublinlive.

The public consultation on the plans for Temple Bar square and its surrounding areas is open until August 30.

If they go ahead, it will see the iconic cobbles resurfaced to make it more accessible for events as well as widening and lowering footpaths.

Rendered images from Dublin City Council show the space being more open and accessible, as well as being more suitable for public events.

The existing trees, street furniture and outdoor seating terraces will be removed with new lighting, trees and street furniture installed.

The council hope to refurbish the area in line with plans to pedestrianise the nearby College Green. The plans include closing the area to traffic.
