More than 80 jobs are expected to be created in Bailieboro, Co Cavan following the opening of a major new dairy facility for Lakeland Dairies.

The farmer-owned co-opalready employs more than 800 people and the new jobs are expected by 2019 - writes rte.ie.
Lakeland Dairiesprocesses milk supplied by 2,400 farmers on both sides of the border.
It produces milk powder and butter, and exports products and ingredients to more than 80 countries worldwide.
The new plant comes after five years of planning and €40 million of investment and will enable the processing of extra milk farmers can supply since the abolition of EU milk quotas.
Thefacility is among the most advanced milk powder plants in the world and one of the largest of its kind in Europe.
