A man in his 50swho was arrested yesterday by gardaí investigating the murders of three people in a house fire in CoKildare 30 years agohas been released from garda custody.
A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions - writes rte.ie.
Barbara Doyle, 20, was babysitting her nieces, eight-year-old Mary Ellen Byrne and three-year-old Kerrie-Ann Byrne, when the fire broke out on 20 September 1987.
Ms Doyle and the young sistersdied in the blaze.
Gardaínow believe the fire was started deliberately.
