A new bus service has been announced to help serve one of Dublin's busiest routes.
Dublin Bus has introduced a new Xpresso service - the 39x - that will operate from Ongar to the Burlington Road - informed dublinlive.ie.
The new service will run from Monday, October 9 and will there will be eight trips a day from Monday to Friday.
It will serve 26 stops towards Burlington Road, and 27 steps toward Ongar.
That means that the Xpresso service has 40 less stops than the regular 39 route, and will help commuters get to and from the city centre quicker during peak hours.
There will be four morning departures from Ongar at 07.00, 07.15, 07.30 and 07.45 and four evening departures from Burlington Road at 16.55,17.10,17.25 and 17.40.
