Dublin Port Tunnel to close for maintenance works

Motorists have been advised to use alternative routes while the works are carried out.

Dublin motorists have been warned that the Port Tunnel is set to close this evening - writes dublinlive.ie.

The two-lane dual carriageway linking Dublin Port and the M50 motorway is set to close for maintenance works from 10pm this evening.

It's reported that the tunnel will reopen at 5am tomorrow morning, but the AA and Dublin Airport have both taken to social media advising motorists to use alternative routes.
