Two men die in separate accidents while repairing storm damage
A farmer in his 50s died while attempting to repair the roof of a shed. The incident happened in Kilgarriff outside Clonakilty in Co Cork yesterday afternoon - writes thejournal.ie.
The man’s body was removed to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem will take place.
Separately, gardaí in Bray are investigating the sudden death of a man in his mid-70s that occurred on Saturday at around 3.30pm in Kilmacanogue, Co Wicklow.
The man fell from a ladder while carrying out repairs to his farm shed. His body was removed to St Columcille’s Hospital in Loughlinstown, where a post-mortem will take place.
Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority are investigating both incidents.
