Gang of teens caught stockpiling huge amounts of bonfire material

The public have been urged to be vigilant in the run up to Halloween.

A gang of teens has been caught stockpiling huge amounts of bonfire material in Dublin - writes dublinlive.ie.

The group have been pictured gathering wooden pallets, tyres and mattresses in the Summerhill area in the city centre.

Dublin Fire Brigade have shared their concern over the images and took to Twitter to urge the public to report stockpiling incidents to avoid tragedy this Halloween.

Speaking to Dublin Live, the emergency service added: "These photos are from the North city centre, Summerhill area. They're gathering combustible materials to burn on bonfires.

"We're particularly concerned with tyres being burned as they release toxic smoke & heavy metals into the environment."
