Kildare Co Council has been asked to urge the developers of a new residential estate in Naas to remove roadside signs which are obscuring traffic lights for local road users.
Anger over 'dangerous' signs for show houses in Naas
The housing scheme - Stoneleigh in Craddockstown - is offering two, three and four bedroom homes and show houses are open to the public at weekends - writes kildarenow.com.
Councillor Ann Breen asked the Council: "Can the people advertising new houses at "Stoneleigh" be instructed to remove
posters fixed at eye level on traffic light poles and protruding onto the footpath?"
"The signs are on the Blessington Road at the junction with Ballycane Road and also at the junction of Craddockstown Road and the Ballycane Road.
"People are complaining of this being very dangerous."
