Festive fun with Tubs at Henry St meet-and-greet

Fresh from another successful stint at the helm of The Late Late Toy Show, Ryan Tubridy proved that he is well and truly in touch with his inner child.

The RTE star was busy doling out more festive cheer yesterday with a special live broadcast of his RTE Radio One show from the window of Arnotts on Henry Street - writes herald.ie.

During the broadcast, Tubs found time to meet and greet some of his young fans who stopped by the city department store, including Naoise Flynn (10), from Rush, who was out and about with her mother Deirdre.

Another fan, Maura Cadden, stopped by with her cute pooch, Angel.

A crowd of around 60 people gathered outside Arnotts as Tubridy broadcast the show.

During the festive special, Tubridy spoke to a number of people, including Arnotts childrenswear buyer Jenny Irwin, who was filling him in on some of the latest trends.

It's a busy time of year for the Dublin presenter, who kicked off the 2017 Christmas season with a bang with a Little Mermaid-themed Late Late Toy Show.

More than 1.2 million people tuned in to the festive extravaganza, making it the most watched programme on Irish television this year.
