Pedestrian dies after being hit by car in Donegal

A pedestrian in his 20s has died after he was struck by a car in Co Donegal early this morning.

The incident happened at Sandhill, Dunfanaghy, at about 4.15am - writes rte.ie.

The man driving the car and his two female passengers were not injured.

The road at the scene has been closed to facilitate a forensic investigation.
