Drugs believed to be heroin and cocaine estimated to be worth in excess of €2.5m were seized in a joint operation with Revenue Customs at Dublin Port this morning - writes rte.ie
The drugs were recovered when a truck destined for Limerick was stopped.

In a separate feud related investigation, a 26-year-old man is still being questioned after two loaded guns were seized in Clondalkin in Dublin yesterday afternoon.
Two other men and a woman were released without charge but detectives believe they foiled a gun attack on a Hutch gang associate.
In a separate organised crime investigation, not feud related, twomen in their 30s are duebefore a special sitting of Carlow District Court at 10.30pm this evening charged in connection with the seizure ofover €1.6million worth of cannabis at a premises in Carlow.
