An unfortunate incident for residents.
Gardai are investigating after multiple cars were badly damaged in an underground car park in Clongriffin - writes dublinlive.ie.
Up to five cars were damaged in the car park on Main Street, Clongriffin, Dublin 13.
The majority of the cars had their windows smashed in the vandalism spree.
The incidents happened shortly after midnight in the early hours of Easter Sunday.
Investigations into the incidents are ongoing but no arrests have yet been made.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are investigating incidents of criminal damage to 5 vehicles in an underground carpark on Main St, Clongriffin, D13.
"The incidents occurred on the 1st April 2018 after midnight. Investigations are ongoing."
This is one of a number of similar, but not related, incidents to have occurred across the city recently.
Gardai are also investigating after a group of cars were smashed during a vandalism spree in the Marino area last week.
On Wednesday night up to eight cars had mirrors smashed and other damage done in the space of an hour.
Four cars on Haverty Road and four more cars on St Aidan's Park Road were damaged during the spree.
It is believed most of the cars had their mirrors broken off the car.
