Gardai in Dublin have launched an investigation after a gunman fired a number of shots at a house on the south of the city in a late night attack - writes dublinlive.ie
The incident happened shortly after 10pm on Sunday night, when the house in Ballyfermot - which is understood to have been occupied at the time - was attacked.
Nobody was injured in the incident, and a source said: "The weapon used was a handgun and there was a number of rounds fired into the house.
"The incident is part of an ongoing local dispute between people in the community."
A Garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are investigating an incident where a number of shots were fires at the front door of a house on Ballyfermot Drive at 10.20pm on April 8.
"There were no injuries.
