American tourist makes desperate appeal to be reunited with Irish lad she met in Dublin

The woman is longing for love.

A couple who met on a night out in Dublin have been reunited thanks to the power of the internet.

American Eryka Alzaga fell for the Meath man on her last night in Dublin and sought him out after their chance encounter in the capital.

And it worked! Eryka confirmed on Facebook that her friends had found Colm and that he had since messaged her. Bless!

She said: "Okay, so this is a long shot and I’m a hopeless romantic but my last night in Dublin I met this guy name Colm I believe his last name is Harvey ?

"My sister and I hung out with him and his friends all night but I never got contact information and I’m shooting myself in the foot for this. I’ve searched on Facebook with no luck.

"A part of me wants to leave it to the universe and the other part wants to give the universe a push. I’m planning on going back next summer and stopping by his town Ashbourne in Meath county.

"I’m not expecting happily ever after but hey if you find this man can you send him this way, please."

Many commenters on the original Facebook post have said they expect updates, with one going as far as saying: "UPDATES PLEASE. You owe us since we are emotionally invested."
